hey, maybe we could make a scale with planes like the spit 9, niki, la7, and p51 costing 5 or 10 points per ride.

WOW, what a unique idea. I don't think anyone's even thought of perking those planes. You deserve a medal, bock!!

What if you die taking off from a CV?
What if you die on final approach?
What if you die via getting booted?
What if you die rolling off the stern of the deck?

What's your name, son?

Discos have to be costly. Otherwise what we will see is people who are about to lose a perk ride hitting disconnect so they save the points. Its because of idiots like this who 'game the game' that we all have to suffer perk loss when we are unlucky enough to disco.

Bfreek your new, most ideas we see from newbies have already been suggested. Theres hundreds of threads about this sort of thing.I suggest you do a search and read some of them.

However I do like your perk cost after death idea It could be worked into a progressive system.
IE the first couple of planes are free but if you continue to waste aircraft they start to increase in cost.It could work but it would take a huge amount of data tracking to keep an eye on what each player flies. It might take up too much bandwidth etc. someone from HTC could answer this for you.

Yeah, I'm a Democrat, but at least I can spell :)

regarding your thread, however, I suggest you review other threads, as there are several other posts similar to yours.

The perk cost is a good idea.  Maybe this could be the anti-vulch key that has been looked for.

The ride only costs you the perks if you use it from the same field you just took off from.  Possibly make it time dependant.  If you got shot down within 5-minutes of spawning it costs you if you try to use it from that same field.

Keep the perk cost low, but make it hurt a little more to be the victim of the vulch.

I'd personally like to see an advisory message when I have a perk plane selected and I click a spawn.  (Stupid spit variants!)

I know Frenchy would've liked this, along with some others I know.
