CH Fighterstick Gameport

I just bought a CH Fighterstick Gameport.
I can install, configure and calibrate it w/o any problem both in Win and in AH.
But after about 5-10 minutes of ingame use of the stick, its axes values begin to jump everywhere badly affecting accuracy. It is actually impossible to use it proficently.
Any clue ?

Thank you in advance

You got poll with interupts turned off in the Game Controller in Control Panel?

I'm not sure if the option is in Win2000/XP but to disable Poll w/Interrupts for your game port, then do the following (Win98SE instructions).

Left click on the START button
Select SETTINGS and then CONTROL PANEL
Double-click on Gaming Options/Game Controllers
Click on the Controller ID# tab
Uncheck the Poll w/Interrupts box and make sure Standard Gameport is listed as your game port.

If disabling the poll with interrupts is also an option in XP, then the above should also work but as always YMMV.

The ID tab is not existing in Win XP, and i could not find the same option elsewhere.
