Fats. Quick question. Do you use an original gun sight one of your own design?

Obvious skill not withstanding and no allegations of cheating as I dont believe you do.

My Squaddies and I observed you make a kill (from above) from a distance of 2.2K
This may have been a lucky shot but thought I would enquire as to whether or not you have your own gunsight.

Thanks in advance

Wow! 2.2k? That is weird, I hardly ever shoot beyond 500yds. Must have been some sort of lag peak causing this weird event. You saw me shoot at someone that was 2.2k away from me and he got killed? Or that he was just 2.2k away from me at the time I got the kill message?

But to answer your question I do have my own gunsight, it's small dot in the center and nothing else. How ever I don't recall shooting at anyone who is 2.2k away, I don't even think the rounds live that far. Depending on the gun how far the rounds actually fly, cause the time to live of a round is time based.

Seeing someone hit from 2-1k is not unusual, it is usually because lag.
I have witnessed both ways these.
Been diving 500mph on climbing plane, he has seen me, waited till last moment, but in that time when he thinks I am 1.3k away and begins evansive, I am really about 300-450 yards his back and already perhaps shot him to death.

It doesn't have to be more lag than just a 600ms total lag, that makes already 1000 yards differences if shooter is alot faster and perhaps accerlating still.
(With total lag I mean lag between two players, with total of 600ms lag, it would be ie. other player has 200ms pings, other has 400ms ping times, total is then 600ms between them two, this is not unusual)

As long as I recall, theres always been these distance problems caused by lag. (includes warbirds, dawn of aces and so on..)
Just remember, you NEVER see your enemy there where he (enemy in his FE) is, due to lag.
