All either allies or non-militant States.

I agree with the point Lazs is trying to make. For me, its the same concept as "Dog Eat Dog" (which I enjoy watching) or "Big Brother" (which I don't) or "Survivor" (which I no longer do) or any of the other game-show/sports contests. "Here's $1,000 to let us hunt you in a field and shoot you with a paintgun. Here's $2,500 if you can dodge the bullet. Are you up for the challenge?"

I recall watching a documentary about how British fox hunters hunt human cross country runners rather than real foxes. Seemed exceptionally kind to the animals.

The only lurid part of this Bambi deal is the fact that the hunted are naked.

That's the thing, though. Sure... Hunting humans. I can see it on a few levels. Prey that can outsmart you... the taboo angle because we really aint supposed to be shooting at other people... that kind of thing.
