On Easter Sunday 1945 the Allies launched the greatest Naval attack in history upon the Island of Okinawa and its environs.

Bitter fighting ensued over the coming 6 weeks with fanatically defended ground hard won by the Allies.

This scenario introduces the might of the US Pacific fleet, with a contingent of the British Commonwealth Pacific fleet, and pits it against the determined resistance of The Imperial Japanese forces, intent upon reaping a heavy price for every Allied gain.

It will unleash the threat of the Kamikaze upon the decks of the US carriers some of which in turn support some of the latest aircraft to delivered by Messer’s Grumman, Vought and Goodyear.

It will feature the Naval bombardment, amphibious landings, ground war and the vital air support required in order to reap success for either side.

This multi – role scenario provides action and immersion through out each frame whether you be Allied or Axis, humble pilot or Squadron leader, your missions will be vital to the success of your side.

Registration will be open for two weeks on a first come first serve basis.

Selector, I can PROMISE heavy work for you and your guys.  Great rides, short runs, big fights.

This one is not going to be any kind of walkover for the allies, trust me.  We need to work hard to get our mission accomplished.

And it should be a real ball.

We need to clarify what "CT" means.  What's that in GMT or US eastern time?

For anyone who has yet to see the Map is it is posably the Best Ever event map created for AH, It will be up in the CT again on the 25th for a week, this will give everyone a great chance to learn the map and practice for the event.

All of the Airfields are hand made to look the way they did in 1945, Arieal photos of the entire Island were refrenced to recreat the feal for the time and place, New Skins for all almost all the Planes involved have been created as well.

Hmmm, well we usually give times in Eastern to keep things standard.  :)  That would be 1600 Eastern.  ;)

I cant commit to any slots,  but I hope to sneak in and Walkon for a Frame.   It would be nice to get a chance to fly in a scenario again.   Iv been Tower bound too much.  Summer Saturdays are hard to give up, but maybe it will rain one of those days.

This looks like it will be a blast.

Shubie, Sorry I cant commit to flying,  looks like a Fun one for GLs and Pilots.   Also wish we had been given more of a chance to talk at CON.

Most likely Batz will be the one needing walkons anyway.   I dont mind flying either side.

Grim I will make suggestion here in a bit about allowing excess walkons (just in case we are full) to fill the many many gunner slots. But I suspect shubie having 10 fleets may need or want cv captains etc. I know we would like a few guys to fill in the extras.

So I hope that even though there are only 100 pilot slots per side that we could get a few others to fill some of the other stuff.

Either way I am sure there will be a place for you or anyone.
