he was doing okay until he jumped on the blame "911 on bush bandwagon" - lost credibility at that point to many but the other nutjobs

if he's their best bet, the rep's don't have anything to worry about..

Never underestimate a potential candidate..after all, Clinton came out of NoWheresVille and pulled the wool over the American publics face for 2 elections (Well, the first you have to give credit  to Perot, and the second you had Dole or Clinton for a choice  )

Amazing how many flag waving conservatives think the American public is a bunch of knumbskulls. Yet they "love America".

Clinton had a 60%+ approval rating AFTER the impeachment. But the only conclusion you can draw from that is that the American public must be stupid? Easily duped?

There are two basic types of liberals:

1.  "I'm miserable and I want everybody else to be as miserable as I am."

2.  "Most people (not including me) are too stupid to make their own economic decisions, so all decisions should be made by government agencies staffed with smart people like me."

3.  "I feel guilty for my success so I think the government should penalize successful people"

2 and 3 usually go together, but sometimes 1 and 2 go together.

I guess the posts in this thread gave me a strong odor of type 2 & 3 liberals.
