I got to drive a bad bellybutton manual one time up in Virginia. It was a Roadrunner (older model) and had a Hurst shifter with a pistol grip handle.

That car was fast, but I never drove it fast. The owner was a coal miner, and let me drive it when he got too drunk to drive one time. I drove it slow, because we ran outta gas and had to nurse it home on a cupfull of gas poured in the carb. We made it, about 5 miles.

The Richmond 6 speed is a nice box. The muncie rock crusher is a stout 4 speed.

Currently I have a manual transmission in the daily driver. It's tough to drink coffee and drive in city traffic. I'll go for the auto in the next car/truck.

it wouldn't matter if my cars had an auto or a stick so far as drinking coffee goes. to my knowledge, no one that knows me has ever even tried to drink coffee in one of my cars while I was driving.

Bah I've been driving stick for years, then for a few months automatic and then I drove stick for a trip.

Hmmmm...exhibition of speed is what they call that. Tell me, are you in complete control of your vehicle when those tires are spinning? What if you broke an axle while doing it?
