Live For Speed S1 Released!!!

The free test is over and they've gone into production with S1, the first pay version.  You can get it here:
http://lfs.racesimcentral.com/
You can get the S1A demo version for free if you want, but S1 has lots of cool new features including some really nice cars and tracks.

Lets see Funked...!!

6 cars... how many tracks? (not counting reverse)  not real clear on the website...

How many cars with clear windows?

Damage effects in place?  Weather effects?

support more than 8 players online at a time?

Their website is just crap... pretty but very lacking in easy to find info

for $30 (almost what it will cost me canuck $) I can likely get 4 copies of GPL...

I can buy any new retail sim for twice that...  and thats only 1/3 of the full version...

Skurj:
You can run 12 cars IIRC.
There are IIRC about 16 courses, not counting reverse.
Your other points are OK.  But none of it matters when you are in a lag free 5 car drafting battle and guys are going three wide hanging the tail out.  The beauty of racing low powered street cars is that you can devote your energy to close racing instead of just trying to keep the thing on the road.

It's Lotus 7 physics, but like the other cars in the game, they change the bodywork and name to avoid licensing fees.

Rude I have a Logitech Wingman Formula Force which is not made any more.  I hear the Logitech Momo Force is the top of the line currently, and that it works very well.  You can use the pedals that come with the wheel or you can use your CH pedals.  I like the feel of the CH, but they don't have a clutch so I am getting some pedals from http://www.act-labs.com.

no paypal here

No worries Funked, I'll consider shelling the cash out with some other method after S2 or S3 is released...

I'm curious to try it, but just can't seem to justify the expenditure at the moment....  a better furnished game may convince me
