Vehicle perks problem

If there were to be a vehicle perk, as the game is now it would be very hard to not loose the perks. As it is now, how many times do you get back to your base for a landing in a vehicle? You would either have to drive to your runway, or if you were spawning at an away point, you would have to wait for the field to go down, then drive to enemy runway before .ef. If there is a perk tank there needs to be a new way to ef a vehicle and still get a landing. any ideas?

You could simply use lower perk costs, reflecting the small likelyhood of returning to base with your vehicle.
