Hiya Indain!

Im pretty sure its starts the day(hour, minute) they send your password.

I remeber a post from a NewU### wanting to change his ID, but missed his 2 weeks to change it in the arena.

Holy moly. You're right. Sorry for that bad info Echo.     But they got you on the right track now.
I use to say to folks wondering that they should try AH offline for a few weeks, get used to the commands and nuances, then sign up.

ROFLOL !!

Thank you everyone for your "colorful metaphors" I enjoyed everyone , especial the Gary Coleman / Tyson stint!! I can tell this is the place for me. I have been online for only few days and boy let me tell you, this is intense. I sure do look good as I go down in a fury burning hunk of metal !! Wow this sim is in no way comparable to AirWuzzies or something like that. My vote will be Aces High, I only hope I can survive the dweebie newbie stage. : )

Hope to c-ya everyone up, and if you do come my way, I'm a easy kill : (

Echo1...I flew AW from classic, thru AWII on AOL to bigweek and then gamestorm...the connection issues have been handled very well...as for flight model issues I'll give you some basic issues. In AW the front aspect shot is largely eliminated by the gunnery model so tactics involve a different set of variables. In AW I'd often look to minimize angles and seperation on merge and go for early vertical lead turn...here you'd die early and often...you need to fly a smarter merge. In AW only a kill counts, so often you can give a ping to gain an edge knowing that only a "golden BB" will hurt you. In AH any ping carries a chance of damage...so 1st blood often counts alot...no more getting hammered by a guy you pinged 3 times and have smoking for 3 min .

Up to 1.04 E bleed was much worse...now E bleed is closer to AW...the flight model has trim and torque modeling not found in AW...so this will take some time...I'd avoid combat trim and learn to trim your rides manually.

All in all you'll find the game to be a big improvement from AW...but be patient for a month or two...like AW I'd say stay with 1 ride for the 1st 6 weeks or so till you get familiar with things.

ECHO1.......I played Air Warrior for 6 years and left because the game stagnated.  I tried AH and found it much better graphics wise, connection wise, and the FM.  It's more of a challenge, the planes are modeled better etc. Once you give AH a chance you'll be saying Air Warrior what????
