Asus mobo's also tend to have a higher bios temp cpu reading, Especially the old KT133/266 ones
Different bios's would report on average a 10c diff lol
I tested temps with asus a7v and bios read 10c higher/lower with different bios's but the actual cpu temp never altered anywhere near 10c or whatever diff bios's reported
Amd's run hotter t'is a fact, People must realise they are quoted to well above 65c but main prob is the hotter they run the shorter their lifespan, But who's gonna worry about keeping a cpu nowadays for more than say 3yrs
