Returned from the wilderness...
« on: July 18, 2003, 03:49:54 PM »
Hi all,

I have returned to the community after a 2-3 year haitus....

I used to fly here in AH a little during the early days and several years in WB before then as CO of the 27th Sentai.

I am getting my air legs back, and getting a kick out of seeing all the familiar callsigns from my WB days.   It feels good to be back!

I've put in a a request with Skuzzy to get the old "bigred" back, and am wide-eyed at all the new (to me) Japanese rides.

If any of the old 27th Sentai guys are around, give me a shout out.

See you all up there...

-regards

Hai!   Welcome back, Bigred-san!    It's great to hear from you  again!

What callsign you currently flying under?

Not many made it here from the old WB's sentai.  I know alot of them are waiting patiently for the imminent Target:Rabaul open beta to begin.

In the meantime, I'm sure you love the Ki.61 here - this one has BIG bite.

HEY OBOE!!!

Long time no see!  Its great to hear from you.  I'm currently flying under "lactoad" (dont ask) but hope to get "bigred" back soon.

Ive got a couple of new guys from work to join up with me and they are training up pretty fast.  We fly pretty often for the Knights (because thats where the server put me).

We should hook up and do some flying for old times sake.
...
So here's the touchy question folks...

What are the completely glossed-over, generalized statements describing each country??? I'm dying to hear opinions.

Umm, I hope you get "Bigred" back soon as well!  ;)

The Bishops are and have been the number one country in terms of numbers and arena resets for the last couple years.    They seem to have the most squads and  the best sustained levels of organization.

The Knights used to generally be the 2nd largest nation, but recently the Rooks have come on to take that honor, and now the Knights are the definite underdogs most nights.

The 13th Sentai is one of the few U.S. Central Std Time Japanese squads, and we fly for the Knights.    Look us up sometime!

Real happy to see ya back, Bigred.   Been wondering where you went off too!

Welcome back Bigred!

Don't forget to check out the Combat Theater. We get some good PTO setups in there every now & then.

Hey BigRed

Flying as Ranma308 in the RAF (Polish) 308 Sqn.  I am a CT fan (like the old WB HA).  Shot down some Corsairs in my N1K2 - lots of fun :)

Leave the MA, join us ...

Hey Mko, and Oboe, all...

I got "bigred" back and am back in the air like a fish in water.

I'm bouncing between the p38, N1K, and the 110g right now.

I'll be sure to try out the Combat theatre as soon as I feel fully "transitioned" over to Aces High.  I'm sure the historical matchups will be great fun.

-Regards
