Canadians - Muchmoremusic SARS Concert
« on: July 26, 2003, 09:44:17 AM »
Is muchmoremusic a cable channel in Canada only? They are going to air 11 hours of the SARS Concert July 30th, and frankly, I don't know if Charter Cable has it here. If it doesn't, if someone can tape Rush and AC/DC for me, we could work out a trade for a DVD or anything you want. I really would like to see this.

Well it would be nice if the Stones all died, and Rush did a 2 hour set.

The DVD offer is still up.

Why don't ya just send Spermsk a bottle of booze, some seal blubber, and a video tape with instructions on how to use his VCR?

Creamo... Would you be able to find out when Rush's show is going to air? I wonder if they'd be able to tell ya if you called 'em up. Not Rush. MuchMusic.

I'll do this for ya. Not because I like you or anything. It's just that I think it's about the only way to get you to shut up about it.

The problem is it might be a really long show, and I'd rather not spend the entire day sitting in front of the TV, poised to hit the record button whenever it is that Rush finally hits the stage.

Know what I'm sayin'?

(edit - reread your post. you're saying the festival is 11 hours long. that's alotta time to monitor the tv for a rush sighting, and too long for extended play recording to solve)

If you can find out, I'll arrange to be there, and you have yourself a deal.

er... as a safety precaution against my scattered existence, could you email me a reminder both on Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning? It's pathetic, I know... but...

Sure, that's fair and thanks.

Man, "The Spirit of Radio" loud enough for 600,000 people would be something to witness.

Looks like 'ol Nash has ya covered Creamtard.  I can set the VCR for Wednesday in case Nash smokes too much stinky grass and forgets.

As for trade ... we can stick something in one of your hoopty-doopty tard rockets and point it north.  When the sucker explodes over my house I'll sit outside and watch the flaming parachute debris return to earth.

The Stones should quit wasting time, get back on tour and keep doing what they do best:  making money.

Your good backup Skernsk, set it.

BTW, my posted red rocket went 10,000 agl on a EX M2000 motor this weekend, 25 G's off the pad. Unfukin real.

Then we put in the EX white lightning L, oh the humanity. It vaporized the booster while it over pressurized. It made it 10 feet off the pad to Canuckland. Basement bombers everywhere gasped. $329.00 worth of kit and 2 months of careful building.

Man, still,  that was the sh*t

Well sure, thats why I didn't post in the "Marriage and Sex" thread. In 10 years we'll talk about it.
