I would like to see some improvements in the viewer for the game.  The biggest improvement I want is to see a 'bomb cam' so you can see how close you actually were to the target you were trying to hit.  It would be really great for seeing those cv kills!

I'd like to see a slow motion control added to the film viewer.

There is a stand alone film viewer program that you can do this with. Click on start button and go to where the aces high program is in the all programs list. Once there you should see a tab for AH Film Viewer.  Open it and you will see a VCR like setup.  Once there you should have the speed slider visible on the top of the screen with the other controls.  You can select views from anyone that was close enough to you to be recorded. So that means you can see how that @#$%@%&^* did you in!

It would be nice to have a separate download for the film viewer. This way I can show film to my buddies in fighter ace w/o having them have to download the game. A good quality film.

You can edit and then convert the film to an AVI file which you can share.

I'd like to see the film view improved to show the terrain as it was when the film was made.

In some films, buildings and AA do not show as they did during the filming. THey are either shown already destroyed, or do not become destroyed when bombed.

Convoys and Trains do not show up on films either. We made a film attacking a convoy, and when viewed, it looks lke we are just shooting at the road.

the quality is very poor, unless you want a 300 mb download.

If you dowload the Divx codex you can save them in that and have much smaller files at 640 x 480/25fps. Unfortunately it still wont save sound with the movies and and after the movie is saved the AH film viewer becomes unstable. If you can kill it in the task manager (sometimes it just wont die for me) you have to reboot.

Hopefully they make significant improvements to it for AH2.

A couple of other items which would be nice:
   1. A fly by view key.
   2. Being able to zoom in closer when in the fixed camera mode.
   3. Sound from player's vehicle.
   4. Full screen playback for recording to digital cameras (for those with S-video out).
   5. Ability to stop film, and rewind to a certain point without the film viewer crashing to desktop.

Or if you have a Firewire port.
