I'd shag Hillary Clinton for one of those. I dig the spoiler that raises at high speed - much better than other model's spoiler.

Look at them closely. The spoilers all look pretty equal, except they're extended on two of them, even though parked.

The label on them ("Erprobungsfahrzeug") means prototype. Quite sure they were not yet fully working when the pictures were taken.

Ah yes... a fantastic car on paper... but surprisingly enough it doesnt do much for me in the looks department.  Dont get me wrong, I wouldnt turn one down as a gift, but I prefer the lines of the 911.

Oh, BTW - as I understand it these cars were snapped around Atlanta, GA (PCNA home office).  Final bouts of testing before they are released - the few hundred individuals who will be forking over half a million dollars to get one must be losing sleep.

I've never been to Atlanta, but those pics sure look like Death Valley to me.

LOL! You get below sea level in Atlanta and you'd better know how to swim.

You were blinded by lust.

PS I saw a 914/6 GT today, really nicely restored.

The black and silver cars are GTs.  The yellow one has different tail lights (and the tail fin is not raised)... and doesn't say GT.  Actually, the silver doesn't say GT either, but I think there was a problem with the rear pieces on it (duct tape and such).

One of my bosses (I cringe whenever I say that) has a really nice 914 2.0.  He also has the fire engine he used to crew when he was in the fire department.  Being with Intel for the last 25 years has its advantages.

The 914/6's are very nice cars.  Not many people give them any respect, but sticking a period correct 911 engine in that go cart makes for an awesome track car.

Excellence, one of the P-car magazines did a story on a 914 that was completely hot rodded. The guy threw a twin turbo 3.6L in one, flared the fenders by a good six inches, etc.

The best part of the car?  The liscence plate frame which read:

'Its all stock' on top

and

'Trust me' on the bottom.

:D
