A dweeb is someone who uses the term "experten".

to even get this anal about what you are doing or to justify what you are doing is dweeby.

To bounce someone who doesn't see you is dweeby but a little bit of it is fun enough.   Every type of simulated combat is fun in moderation..  some more than others.

As far as 1) goes, there's nothing wrong with vulching, it's one thing dweebs, aces, and experten have in common.  Vulching is an easy kill, which is always good, and it may alert the victim that it's time to take off from another field.  Letting the victim gain altitude for some idea of sportsmanship is an unrealistic portrayal of the air combat we are trying to simulate.  It also puts your teammates at risk, as the enemy may get a chance to kill someone he otherwise wouldn't have.

IMHO, the best kills of all are bounces were the enemy never even sees you.  The more time, energy, or ammo a kill requires, the less smooth the kill was.  The vulch is nearly the perfect kill.

I liked the Bomber Section, as I see that a lot.  Someone sits on my 6, steadily climbs within range of my guns. gets hammered, then rants on the BBS that buffs are too tough, etc etc.

The Main is very frustrating at times.  Especially if one country is really having their bellybutton handed to them.  Cooperation seems to fade, and any idea of taking back lost bases fades away as more players up into furballs over and over again.

I still see a lot of guys ask for bombers and goons, yet not cover or assist them in any manner, accept to ask for another if one fails to reach the requested target.  I'm forever in awe at guys who won't engage a con trailing a goon/buff yet babble incessantly if they aren't given a CheckSix and creamed.  We know who they are and they are just part of the game.

The only other dweebish thing I hate is folks running from a good fight.  1 vs 1.  Pony drivers are notorious for it <jest!>, yet claim Ace-like stature for running home, hiding behind friendly ack or yelling all over Channel1 (by accident) to get this con off his 6.  Heck I usually die in these 1v1 engagements since I fly buff too much to know how to fly the fighters really well.  But its just disappointed to see a good joust vaporize because the weenie had to call in 5 friendlies to help him get out of a jam.  Be a man, its a game, take the fight!  Running home to mama don't make you brave...sure you'll live to fight another day but don't you think your pals will grow weary of your running home whenever a red dot appears?
