Yeah, I heard about that from an employee of mine who was there.  He did say that LB did manage to fire up a pretty down crowd.  His characterization of Metallica's playing was not as upbeat as the reporter's too.  (thought they didn't play enough of the old stuff)

Cripes, don't you actually have to be cool, before you can "jump the shark"?

I don't think that would stop even FD from jumping one.  BTW, Metallica without Cliff is like the Beatles without John and Paul.  :p

I wouldn't know a Metallica song from Barry Manilow one, but even I know the frontmans called James  Hetfield, not Jason Hetfield.

The famously brainless Durst only fanned the flames, first encouraging the catcalls and flying trash, then swerving into a bizarre tirade against the crowd and city. Ranting that he'd fight anyone in earshot and spluttering explicit sexual putdowns, uncreative curses and ludicrous homophobic slurs, Durst simply self-destructed. Had the villain in "The Wizard of Oz" been a vile little boob like Durst rather than a snarly old lady in greenface, the movie's "I'm melting!" scene might have looked like this.

Ah, Chicago.  Where baseball fans assault first base coaches and the ushers carry handcuffs.

At least Margaret Hamilton ("The Wicked Witch of the West") was a talented performer.

go listen to the new PRONG - Scorpio Rising.

Best album this year so far.

the hoards of nu-metal bands owe their souls to PRONGS sound.

Wasn't Prong's first album produced by Glenn Danzig?  I used to have it years ago, dunno what happened to it.

No Danzig didn't produce. The Danzig connection is Tommy Victor playing guitar for Danzig's current tour and writing/recording the next Danzig album.

Ah, ok.  God I miss the "YEEEEEEAhhhhhhh's" of Danzig.  That was a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...
