Please include the cockpit in the list of editable surfaces for the new skins. (I don't know whether this is already the case or not, forgive me if i'm mistaken here)
Having the ability to reskin the cockpit kills two birds with one stone: A good airplane skin may include a better looking cockpit art than the default (anyone remember the screenshot of the Zero cockpit some time ago? I haven't found it anymore but it was a huge leap from the generic cockpit) *and* it is possible to get metric gauges for planes that had them.

Yeah, you can edit the .bmp files for the cockpit, and even pilot.

Yes imperial in a German plane is a joke. Please i want metric gauges in my 190

BTW

Mr Kanttrori have FinRus map version (for AH1) which have metric gauges with Finnish texts for Finnish side fighters.
I dont remember was there metric gauges for Russian side fighters too.

Anyway it was prety fun during the map beta test when you take fast check to the speed and altitude gauges midle of the fight... Hey, whatta heck!?!?
