Brown Ale
« on: August 01, 2003, 09:01:09 AM »
I've recently become a big fan of brown ale.

Specifically, Newcastle Brown Ale and Red Hook Nut Brown Ale.

Any others you guys can recommend? It's the weekend and I want to get busy!

Busted Nut Brown Ale is popular too...but I wouldn't know, sounds gross to me.

Creamy Brown Ale is pretty good, or have you tried Fat Tire?

Stick with the NewCastle.  I did and have no regrets.

Try Newquay Brown, although I have no idea if they sell it outside Britain.

Newquay Brown? Are you sure you are not getting confused with 'nukey' Brown i.e. Newcastle Brown.

Newquay is in cider country.
