Sunday Squad Ops - 8/3/03
« on: August 01, 2003, 11:09:50 AM »
Okay I got out the sides and objectives for sunday to everyone last night. 9 GIAP is not participating this squad ops but say they will be back for the following one.

We are using the Burma Squad Ops that Suave did because its well suited for smaller numbers and it was ready.

I am sorry I did not ask for sides but just split you guys up. Their simply wasn't time to do so if we have one this sunday.

Now as for the cause of the delay. I am dealing with it and working on putting the house in order to get things back running on a smooth schedule.

As for bringing on new CMs, its a possibility. Something I will discuss with Flossy. Personally I would like to have 3 setup CMs and 3 Admin CMs per squad ops day, but we have a finite number of CM slots that HiTech is willing to support. I personally don't know how many so I don't know if I can add on more CMs for Squad Ops or not.

Will look into it.

I might also consider seeing, if anyone is interested in maybe doing some different in say running two squads ops designed by Admin CMs and then running maybe a player design Squad Ops. Player picks the setting, the rules, plane types, objectives, etc. and scores it. Just have to work with a CM mentor on the admin side and the setup CM.

But its a possible way for people to try doing what an Admin CM does. Its not for everybody and is a lot more work and responsibility than the setup CM and is not for everybody. I actually prefer being the a setup CM myself.

Also don't take this that I am going to do this. I am just thinking out load here and have to discuss with others about either adding on more CMs or possibly find an alternative method to spread the work load. Or possibly things will smooth out now after this once we get everyone on the same page.

Just keeping you all in the loop.
