well from all I read if I cancel my beloved account ( I ain't kidding ) I will get offered to get it back at $19.99 or $14.99 or for even &9.99 ( what aw costs )  acrimony!
im not squeaking about the money if it was 50 I would pay . but considering some of the decisions that htc has made I im torn between wanting to pay them as much as possible to improve the game as fast as possible. or conversely since they have made several decisions ( I wont beat a dead horse or hog ) that I have found to be flippant to the happiness of a lot of players and have greatly negatively effected gameplay and overall community integrity (I.e.fun)

for the life of me I have no idea what direction the game is really going. my squad talks for the first time in history of a.h. of what game we are  going to play next,these are guys who mostly started in beta we dont have meetings cause we play every nite  typ people.
 and some valid complaints are squelched with any Machiavellian means wether germane to the point or not. The  people who post attacking every post on this bbs that can even be mistaken to be critical of htc are worse than the overly negative people such as myself. they are real character assassins I may be terce and even rude but I seldom just throw insults in the manner the "htc apologists" it sucks the place is mean .

now I have to sit here and think if I cancel my account ill get it back cheaper , that sux thanks alot guys you really rattled my cage .and I bet im not the only one.

 Well, ya cant please everyone.

  I am one of those guys who doesnt give a rats bellybutton if this FM is off a bit or this plane rate of climb is off by 10fpm, yada yada yada. I am here for the fun factor and since the last build i rate AH a 9.0 out of 10. I came here from a sim with a whopping planeset of 9 "which was enough since there was only 1 plane flying in the whole arena" horrible connections, and no updates in 8 months. I must say that flying here i believe I am in heaven! I think the crew at HTC is doing an outstanding, thankless job and I for one just want to say thankyou! When new stuff gets added, bugs are squashed, or you get an answer  to a question in the arena from the man himself, all that is recieved in turn is a token thanks, if anything at all. But get shot down by an uber hog, or ostweenie, then  the whineing is deafning. Guess what, u die u stupid, u deal with it. hit fly again and shut the hell up. If it aint worth 30 bucks then quit and give the rest of us trying to have fun a break.

 As for finding a better sim to fly...good luck

I agree towd, it ain't fun anymore and even the newborn scenarios are off to a rocky start, everyone irritated over this thing or that thing.

I am not leaving over the price.

I just look at the planeset, the near future Naval planeset, the Map of the Month Main Arena, ostwinds, PERKPLANES and the what began as a flightsim turning into just another online furball and although it may be the greatest thing since Eve for some, it is not so for me.

I have been here since free beta and have always found a reason to hang in 1 more month but now cannot so I will see you all in a couple of months.... maybe.

From what I understand, not everyone that quits gets this offer, but I understand you are saying that to make a point. I agree that this is not the best thing that has happened around here, but I think I am going to wait and see what happens before making any quick decisions. I, of course, hope that you stay in the game. You're a damn fine pilot, and I am glad to be in the same squad as you. I hope you decide to wait around for a bit.

I probably should stay out of this discussion... But I gotta say that I dont understand all this frustration about the pricing. I am a member of The Wrecking Crew too and the way TOWD puts it, it sounds like the whole squad supports his statement.
My personal point of view is that HTC is a private company, and they gotta earn money else they wont survive, and we risk to lose the game completely.
 Special offers is a quite common way to recruit new customers, and we all will benefit from it, if HTC succeed in getting more players.
Offering a special price to new customers but not to the old ones, can seem unfair, but to see it as betrayeal, thats downright stupid!

You can call it "outrage" or "a slap in the face" or being "slighted" or whatever you want.  It's pure and simple jealousy my friends.

Folks that were paying $30 happily two days ago and now are all pissed off are only upset because a handful of folks are paying less.  They're just jealous.
