I have post it again before one year,i know, but i repost it for the new guys
here. Its a taste of what these mens
had to face up there and also a good
lesson about gunnery and results.
Some of them (holes) is  20mm german ofcourse.

Damage on which parts don't the pictures show? That's where to aim so they don't make it home...

The entire crew was killed in Rutilants's picture.  Accounts say that the bomber eased out of formation then went into a very steep dive.  I bet the control cables for the other elevator snapped.

Anyone know if the B17 had seperate control cables for each elevator?

hmm...looked at some of those b17 nose shots.


The bombadier wasn't having a good day after that.
