You should be ok with 2 VD2 cards in SLI.
As pyro & HT both use these cards on there work systems and dont seem to have many problems.
Also ive found that the latest drivers are not allways the best for FPS in AH. I have a AMD K6-2 450 with the Hercules TNT 16meg. The last 2 driver releases gave me screen lockups & jerky motion in flight. I had to go back to an older driver, screen lockups stoped and so did the jerky motion.
I get about 7 FPS to 30 FPS with this setup. But have just picked up a PIII 550 ( For free ) and i bought a Slot 1 motherboard and an TNT2 Pro card today,so i will be tweaking this setup tonight.
One other thing, latest nVidia drivers cause my system to lockup as well.
Hopefully ill be able to tweek everything tonight and get some flying time in.
Will report back with results.
One other thing to note, i had the piii 550 setup with my TNT 16meg and got 27 to 30 FPS on runway and 47 to 55 FPS in air, so i think that i can get a bit more outa the TNT2 card.
