I got booted 3 times from the CT this evening. What for I'm sure you might ask? Oh I was using a term or terms that you can use quite freely in the MA... . You all understand... same term used in the MA constantly. 10 X, 20 X, perhaps even 30 X a minute if you consider local channels. So... if nothing happens in the MA when you use such a term what is different?

Ahhhhh, in the CT if you use these terms you are confronting the supreme authority of persons who don't even know how much ORD is required to sink a DD in BoB. However, they are holding (and abusing) the mighty BAN button. This incredible device makes normally rational and unassuming persons into DUH DA DUH!!!! super-morality-dweeb-pencil-neck-dipwad-brain-dead-morons! Why? Ummmm, because it is there. It is there for normal users to be given power to boot u off if u tick them off. Even if under the rules you are not swearing but using things like... futz (points awarded for persons knowing author originating this term) or the extremely cryptic "--|--" which for all anyone knows means "heil hitler" since I made it up right then and there.

What is my point? B4 these children are allowed out with the BAN cannon they should stop to examine rules of moderator behaviour as exhibited in some 15 yrs of the Internet.

Oh and BTW... could ya plz fix the C38 PT and LVT spawn bug in BoB? Launching LVTs from that TF ends u in 10,10,5 no matter where C38 happens to be.

theres a profanity filter in the main plus "monitors". So saying that you can mouth off in the main like that is nonsense.

The reason for the crack down in the ct is because that language has went to far. People complained to HT who told the CT CMs to crack down.

Theres no freedom of speech in any of these arenas or on this board.

Either do what they suggest or you will get the boot. You can call or email HT and i am sure he will tell you the same thing. The CT CMS are doing what HT told them to do.

There is no quick fixes on the maps. These are maps made by players for players and there are always a few bugs. What do you want with pt boats in the BoB anyway?

Hardness settings change every week. All the ct cms dont know every setting that the current cms has in his set up. So any CT CM isnt going to know how a particular cm has set up the arena.

I did mouth off like that in MA... nothing happened... then again no monitors to be abuse clueless snerts either.

Wuzn't askin for freedom of speech... was pointing out lack of consistency... there is that annoying title thing again.

If HT told them to act this way he was wrong... having worked CR for MMOGs I can say this with straight face.

No quick fixes... so far in 5 months no known fixes at all. 5 months ain't quick at all. For time investment to tweak minor map settings should have taken all of 1 day. If it is taking longer HTCs revision system is SNAFU.

Why would I want PTs? Oh probably to kill DDs with... Why LVTs well that should be obvious.

Hardness settings don't change every week they change every map which didn't go into this cute rotation until not long ago. Therefore hardness settings for BoB should have been painfully obvious.

OK so what wuz yer point again?!?...

You didnt get booted 3 times for nothing. You were booted cause you ran your mouth. You can email or call HT and tell umm all about it. After hes done laughing he will tell you the same thing.

CT maps are mostly made by the players not ht so I dunno know what you are crying about. Entry points (spawns) are set by the map maker. That bob map is well over a year old. Most folks in a BoB map dont care much about pt boats atleast not enough to do anything about it.

fyi lvts spawn fine from c38

pt boats spawn in 10 10 1 9 by design not because of a bug.

Pointing back to the title... CONSISTENCY.

I flipped out and spouted off initially because I was seriously upset about that blasted DD fleet off of 33.

I was banned for 10 min at that point. This pissed me off even more since what I said in the CT doesn't have any effect in the MA. This I'm certain of because I went to the MA and repeated myself.

Same game, same rules, different results. That is and was what annoyed the hell out of me. Aside from the 2 hours of hammering on the aforementioned DD fleet that already had me pretty ticked off. Funny how already in this thread someone has used the term STFU. Again same game and rules... no effect. Consistency.

Anyway, in the light of morning without all the beer and drinking coffee instead this all seems rather trivial and foolish.
