Frenchy Award - End of the month
« on: August 03, 2003, 04:38:03 AM »
The Jully in the jugy month is terminated. Give me some time to find some help to compute the top 50, then I will anounce the results.

Thank you for all the courageous pilots who "gave it a shot". After this month, I'm sure you will give many wax coat and kisses to your usual MA ride:D

I didn't have much time to fly due to real life, but I could manage the 100 kills qualification.

I did start to fly for K/D till my second kill ... then I got shot down by Wilbus (who was in an another D25) and said something like "Screew that". Then proceeded to "fly my usual way".
After doing everything wrong from furballing, straffing FPs, de-acking fields, to dive bombing fleets, I finished with 118 kills and 28 deaths, giving a 4.2 K/D.

I hope you had fun sharing the daily ride of the 56FG vs "MA monsters".

Cheers!
Dat jugs bro.

Well Frenchy,

Here are my numbers. I hadn't too much time to fly as I wish, but I glad enough with the numbers. But a little more concentration and less fun it could be better ;)

110 kills
13 deaths
Ratio 8.46

Take a look at Robes, he had great numbers!!

235 kills
23 deaths
Ratio 10.21

Thats mine and my CO numbers of 1/4 GAv Pacau, a squad that regularly flow the P47-D25 with the Brazilian colors.

And again, WTG for the contest Frenchy. Thanks for estimulate the people to know more about the incredible and confiable JUG!!

Not really succsesful, 201 kills and 42 deaths, yeah the booming and deacking sucks :D

I should have stoped at 102 kills had only 7 deaths then, but as the tour got along i forgot about it :)

Tour 42  -

Gibroni has 152 kills and has been killed 55 times in the P-47D-11.

Some day I'll get 3 to 1.  First I have to resist the urge to scramble from capped fields with 25% gas and 267 rounds per gun.

i flew enough to be ranked 92 in fighters for that tour.

the real question you needed to ask was, "and did you even fly one that tour?"

:D
