New VW Golf?

I think the Mk.2 was the best of the lot, although the Mk.3 was ok. I get the feeling VW have one Golf owning test subject who bought a Mk.1 GTi as a kid and are mimicking the aging process from youth to old age, from Mk.1 to Mk.x.
War! Never been so much fun. War! Never been so much fun! Go to your brother, Kill him with your gun, Leave him lying in his uniform, Dying in the sun.

ROFL!  Quite possibly. But I refused to buy a Mk1, as back in the day, it was the ultimate YUPPIE car - especially in black.

if I squint I think the new polo looks similar to the old mk2 golf (though rounded off) seems about the same size.

new golfs are huge! although all cars on the whole seem to be increaseing in size, Look at the new mini its hardly mini at all!  :)

btw new golf looks ok and I'm sure the top spec models will be stinky quick :D

I'm not sure which is worse, buying a car to look like a yuppie, or avoiding the purchase to not be seen as a yuppie...here's a concept, try it: Buy the car for its performance rather than what image you may be perceived as.
