U.S. Const., Art II, Sec 1, Cl 4: No person except a natural born citizen...shall be eligible to the office of President...and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.

Therefore, The Mark 1 Terminator...um I mean Arnold S. is not eligible to hold the Presidency...but that does not mean that a foriegn  born natural citzen cannot; two examples come stright to mind: John McCain (born in Panama), and me (then West Germany). Both of us, as with thousands of U.S. citizens who were born to American parents abroad are eligible. However word has it that several Con law scholars (on behalf of both parties) would have filed suit against McCain based on this clause if he had one.

Carry on.

what do you mean 5% ? , are you talking about the recall petition? the petition just calls for a recall election, that just means davis has to be re-elected, davis is not out until the recall election is over, if he wins he will stay in office, ALL the cal voters will say if davis stays or goes.

don't start crying yet, plenty time for that later.

Taken from foxnews.com:

"In my heart it was that I wanted to do something for California. I wanted to give something back because California has given me so many opportunities," he said.

Schwarzenegger, who is running as a Republican in the effort to recall Democratic Gov. Gray Davis (search), also told Fox about his plans to solve the California budget crisis.

"The first thing that you have to do is not worry about should we cut the programs or raise the taxes and all those things," said Schwarzenegger, who has an economics degree.

Economics degree?  I guess he has more education that we all thought.
