Just came across the newswire...Al Gore to make major announcement today.

And of course, Hillary sucks....not as much as Monica though, and not as much as a hippie.

AlGore said:

"Millions of Americans now share a feeling that something pretty basic has gone wrong in our country, and that some important American values are being placed at risk, and they want to set it right."

As AlGore pines simplistic about the current administration I could not help but agree in veiled amusement at just how right he is and just how much he and the democratic party are primarily responsible for the social, financial and political degradation of the country.

Let me see if I get this right...

Geroge bush sucks, but I suck even more, and I know it, so I'm not running against him because I'll lose to a guy who sucks.
Way to go, Al.

BTW, Tipper sucks...not a much as a hippie, though.

So once again a liberal democrat has complained about a republican administration that is all bad and evil, and yet again offered no "alternative" or cure to what's wrong.

 how typical.....

Let see now, Gore along with Clinton supported NAFTA.  NAFTA passage has been responsible probably more than any other single item for the loss of American jobs.

The administration Gore served in did virtually nothing to combat terrorism, but they did send some troops to Somalia with inadequate support and no armor to protect them, and 18 died in one infamous battle.  After that, the Gores Democratic administration just cowered and pulled them out with no results except the metal coffins.

And wasn't it Gore who used the White House to solict funds from donors?  Wasn't it Gore who arraigned for donors to sleep in the Lincoln Bedroom if they gave enough money towards the Democratic Party?

Just what had Gore actually done that qualifies him as some great leader who should be spouting off?

Oh, I forgot, the internet thing.

Sad thing is... I don't think anyone the Dems are fielding so far is any stronger than Gore. And it's getting close to being too late to expect that somebody stronger out there is going to throw thier hat into the ring.
