Looks friggin' awesome! I'm waiting to look AH with it until I log on for squad night in a few hours. I have to head over to the soon to be ex-bother-in-law to re-install his internet connection. If I log onto AH now, I wouldn't logoff until I was ready to sleep!

RAM...part of growing up is learning that the world isn't always fair. Sometimes you get the upper hand, sometimes you get toejam. I'm sure there are plenty of people out there that have gotten this exact same monitor for substantially less than I have. I feel it was worth the price it was offered to me for, so I bought it. If my next door neighbor asks me to come over tomorrow to see the awesome monitor he got for 40% off retail, I'll call him a bastard and congradulate him on getting such a good deal. I wouldn't go home and be depressed for the next week 'cause he got a better deal.

I pay $29.95 for Aces High...it's worth that much to me. Hell, it's worth more than that to me, as it's pretty much the only game that I play, and the sole reason that I upgrade my computer. In the last 6 months I've purchased a new motherboard, a PIII600, a PIII800 (to replace the 3-month old PIII600), an NVidia Geforce 256 DDR, a 3DFX V5-5500 (to replace the NVidia), and now an $1100 21" monitor, all to support and enhance the experience of my hobby. That doesn't include the other ludicrous things I've done for my hobby, including flying halfway across the country to get drunk and talk smart with my fellow virtual pilots or build my super duper comfy flight sim chair... http://www.matthoffman.cc/chair.html

So, get over it RAM. If you just can't stand it no more, quit. If you just can't afford it no more, take the $10/mo offer you said you got in the mail...nobody would think the less of ya. If you need a name, I'm sure everyone would be happy to help you pick a new one! How 'bout "cRAMo"?

Hope to see you up in the arenas for a while...although you're a pain in the bellybutton to listen to sometimes, you're a heck of a fun dogfight.

sorry I jumped this way in your thread, I was in a very bad mood (I still am but,well, a bit calmer

)...

BTW I will never use that 10$ offer, was given to "other" guy, an imaginary one who had a imaginary name, adress or everything else. That offer was not for RAM, but for one guy that logged on two or three times and then dissapeared forever. (wanted to fly with other handle for a change, and opened another account, while paying and keeping open mine. Bassicaly was a temporal handle change).

BTW I've not quitted AH so far, but I'm not flying either. Maybe I delete my account, maybe not...but wont take long to decide it.

Actually RAM, I did watch the match. It was played here our Tuesday in the AM, Oct. 24th.

The match I saw, (and I don't know if it was live or a replay, sorry)..it was a UEFA match and Leeds won 1-0 over Barcelona, at least I think that was the final...can't remember now.

It was a very physical match and you are right, Barcelona controlled the time of possession.

Seriously, though, hope to meet up with you in a week or so & find out what you think of the flat screen. A friend of mine (who has WAY too much money) got one & used it for Box sims. I know, I know, I've tried to tell him... No box sim AI can possibly match up with a live opponent... while he may have gobs of money, he has very little free time. The two may be related, huh? But lack of free time keeps him from seeing why he should pay $30 mo. to suck & be vulched & spin into ground until he learns how to handle a decently modeled AC, when he can just pay once for a box &... well you get the idea.

Anyhoo, he ended up taking it back (No, I don't remember what kind it was) because he was "very disappointed with clarity, & it had some wierd stuttering effects", least that's what he said.

BTW, the chair was a recliner, wasn't it? Are ya gonna put peds on the footrest & then, hehe, recline? & (most important) WHERE'S THE RETRACTABLE COOLER???!!!

Shortly after installing Mistu's explosion sounds a few months ago, I was doing jabo and dropped a 1k egg and was close enough to hear it hit...I almost had to change my underwear!
