anyone know how to convert a video file to an mp3 file?

You probably can't, only way that I could think would be to record the sound from the video to a .wav file, then convert it from wav to mp3.

how do i do that? i have winamp, kazaa lite, windows media player, Iroc audio mananger and Mp3 Maker?

Only way I know how to is to use windows sound recorder to record it to .wav, then use a file converter to change file types. I have musicmatch but i'm sure there is a free one out there somewhere.

Do you actually just want the sound from the video or do you want the picture too?

To make it smaller or to stream it better.
