Those of you waiting for WWIIonline to come out take a good look at Aces High the one that is out.

WWIIonline promises to have ground troops, tanks, Airplanes and ships.

Aces High has Tanks trucks Airplanes and soon to have Ships all controllable by the players.

Open your eyes and look, AWIII and WB are pretty much the same (not talking FM's here)you go and shoot the enemy and take bases. Aces High does this also but it gives you other options to do it with. WWIIonline all you have to do is look at the screen shot to see they over done the graphics and cant get frame rate up. I seen the game cant say what I saw but it was over a year ago that they said it would be out.

If you are board here just wait until WWIIonline comes out you might find some one in the air or on the ground or in the water but where are they at. they game sound good but with out 1000's online at a time and the whole world model for terrain way to much flying driveing walking and so on. The only way to change any of the strat models for any of the games is to have computer controlled target that maintain a battle all day long that is not what these game are about though.

And for those who hate the idea of the price difference, I started in AWIII for 9.95 a month and went to WB for 9.95 a month that turned into 50 a month i jumped on AH for 29.95 plus taxes because i live in texas. I dont care what others are paying that not why I am here Im here to have fun and kill the nme over and over again.

So what does all this mean you all keep saying wait till so and so come out with their game well it will be more of the same old toejam you see here and at WB if you dont like this you wont like that either. Yuo cant make people do anything they dont want to its their game they are playing not yours.

I said before I vote with my money and its on the super group of SIX at Hitech Creations.

Yankee your team is Champs again

Right behind ya Indian!

Been hearing lots of talk about WBIII lately.
The last anyone saw the terrain  it looked like flying on mars! Not to mention it STILL won't have Strat, ground vehicles, or steerable navy!

As for WWIIOL, well seeing's believeing. Show me where I can download it!!!!

WBIII planes look good. The F4U looks very good. But the screen shots I've seen from beta play make it look like the aircraft were cut and pasted on a couple of abominations - the sky and terrain.  I'm not saying they are fake. I'm saying they look... odd.  Very odd
WWII Online. Ah yes   All those folks thinking Valhalla awaits?  All I can do is recomend a 4 week stint on The Zone or Gamestorm in the relaxed realism arenas for a taste of what awaits.  I know WWIIO is not RR, but the vast majority of the folks playing there will be!

I've got an idea - let's judge WWIIOL and WB III when they are released!

Funcked wasnt trying to judge WWIIonline just pointing out people are saying they will have this and that when we arleadry have it here. Never mentioned WBIII I dont look at the screen shots because a screen shot can be made up to look nice and when real thing arives be dissapointing. Im tired of reading wait till so and so come out it like a threat except for the crew on AWIII, HT worked with most of the teams that are doing WB and WWIIonline. Now I met the people at Playnet and as most know I met the crew of HTC, In my opinion HTC is the more professional. They do not go around saying things about the compition, even at the Con HT would not say much about them. On the other hand I was told over a year ago that WWIIonline would be out in open Beta when Aces High goes full pay to play, well I have been playing and paying for some 8 months now and no WWIIonline yet. I just think they are having more problems then they expected. Enough of this didnt mean to sound like bashing anyone just pointing out the few points.

I hear you Indian.  I have visited the CRS offices and I am highly skeptical that it will be as good as the hype, or that it will be released anytime soon.  And I have been skeptical of WB III ever since they showed us a "demo" at the WB Con in August 1999.  But I have been wrong before at least once or twice, or so they tell me.

 I disagree, Indian.
By the time WWII Online comes out our Pentium6/4GHz and GeForce8 will not have any problem getting decent frame rates.

Why anybody would object to have another quality sim available to us is beyond me. These are games, not religions. BTW I wouldn't overlook IL2

Indian, not to be rude, but what the hell are you on about? If WW2OL is better than AH from _my_ point of view, I'll move there, I'm not even sure who you're trying to argue with. Were you sober when you posted this?
