I can haul 8' sheets of plywood/drywall/whatever in the fully enclosed, lockable box. It goes down the road nice, much better than my little S-10 did and I can carry five in total comfort. Full leather, all the toys, 4x4.

But whatever.

I like the color. :D

Heh the gremlin is cool; the pacer was ugly.  But the Aztek -- yes, that is a butt-ugly automobile.

Pontiac Aztek wins hands down.  The ugliest car I've ever seen.

Not a big avalanche fan myself... but some guys at work love them.  Of course, they're all gay, but that's covered in a different thread.

LoL Mini.........

Aztek is definitely the uglest car ever,  I mean did anybody see this car before it got to the assembly line?

Sandman, I wont argue that the Avalanche is a versatile vehicle, but it reeks of ugly, mostly that front grill/headlight setup.  And worse GM as let the ugliness spread to the regular truck line

I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder..........

WTF is that Aztek thing!??!!!?

And I like the idea of a 'cubist atrocity'.

*shrug*

I get complimented virutally every day on my truck, so again, whatever.

Yellow was a 2003-only color for the Avalanche, it wasn't available in 2002, and it's not available in 2004. I actually had a white 2002 Avalanche that I traded in on the 2003 (wanted the color and all the toys...er options).

Avalanches are available in white, black blue, red , green (probably some others)...with or without the body cladding (starting in 2003 cladding became an option).  The 2003 cladding is quite a bit darker than the 2002 cladding.

My front end includes the factory brush guard, which is pretty intimidating. Go ahead, pull out in front of me, sucka...

Actually got the guard because we have a crapload of deer around me, and I go to work very early (I'm at my desk by 0530). That, and I fully intend on taking it offroad.

but.... doesn't yellow make it stand out even more?

Look... 99% of the new cars are melted plastic and horrible to look at... can't tell one from another.... they are hard to get in and out of and you can't see out of em that great... they all run good and ride good and get good milage and stop well.

The truck/suv abortions (this coming from an El Camino owner) are every bit as hideous, more even than the cars maybe but they at least have good seating and can haul things... they get crappy milage and do all the rest of the stuff well.   I just don't see any new stuff that I would consider "good looking"   the new Mustangs are passable...

Actually, the taller one isn't all that bad.
