Its great to see what all the offloading of american jobs to India has enabled them to do.

If your in the IT business and still have a job, just wait.

The thing that confuses me is the money they are willing to throw at it. Isn't a large part of India's population living in poverty, or has that changed?

anyone else amazed at the time span between the landing of humans on the moon and the current China/India "plans" to  simply reach the moon?

For me it puts into perspective how increadible the moon landings were in 1969.

India thinks they can land a an unmanned craft by 2007......nearly 40 years after man walked on the moon.

The US had freaking SUV's on the moon..... :)

tell them they don't have to go to the moon, we been there , there's nothing there.

going directly from earth to moon is not the right way to go. it was JFK's idea to beat the russians to the moon. american engineers wanted to build a space station.

USSR never put a man on moon , never intended to, USSR just wanted the USA to waste time going to moon so they could work on their own space station.

the right way to do it is to go from earth to space station then space station to moon then moon base to mars, but what do i know , i'm no "rocket scientist"
