Most overrated player in the NFL goes down

poor Vick, broke a bone. Out 6-8 weeks.

And i was predicting he wouldnt be out with an injury untill after his first game against the bucs this year. I hope im not the only one who is tired of hearing how great this guy is even though he hasnt done a damn thing except get beat down by top 10 defence's.

That'll teach EA for putting mike vick on the cover of madden 2004, ignoreing the best team in the nfl. (the buccaneers of course)

The hype is well deserved. If he stays away from getting to many injuries he will get alot better as time passes. Hes extremely fast and has a cannon for an arm. When his reads get better he will be close to a Bret Farve with wheels. I hate the falcons tho.

Heh, I don't believe I have ever heard anyone whine about players from their prefered team not making a video game box before.  You go, girl!

Can you say...Bosworth?

BTW, I have peerless price on a couple of fantasy teams, and I am worried. But I heard he is being replaced by a guy named "sling" johnson? Maybe i'll get more production out of price cause the QB isn't going to run with the ball?

Its a loss for NFL fans. Any Falcons game would be worth watching with Vick no matter who they play. At least he should be back for their MNF game.

6 weeks isn't that long, but man, what a bummer.

This and other injuries is why there is no need for "Preseason" football.

Here's some more...

Gale Sayers is not in the all-time top 50 in any major category.

Lynn Swann isn't either.

I blame astro turf.  Not sure if it was related to his injury but so many have been caused by it.  I am a Giant fan at heart but get to watch Vick regurlarly I predict, if he survives that Vick will be one of the best quarterbacks ever.

Right now besides Shockey he is the biggest target for defense.

Come on, Deion was the most explosive player the league has ever seen.

I hated him in a Cowboy uniform, but to discount him is the worst case of understanding the NFL I have ever seen posted. He was a Monster. Great for the league.

I actually like him as a broadcaster, his suits are too much and he promotes himself as fast as he carried the ball.

Was he Chuck Cecil and as brutalizing to the receivers? Nope. But who could match Chuck anyway.

Deion isn’t overrated, just hated.

As a defensive player, Deion was one dimensional.  He was one of the best ever at cover but couldn't tackle worth a crap.  I saw Tom Waddle juke him and outrun him to the endzone.  he wasn't that good a baseball player either.  For 2 sport stars give me Bo anyday.

Hmm, can't imagine why Gale Sayers isn't in the top 50 in any category.  Ohh, wait, perhaps it was the devastating knee injury that shortened his career to just a few years.  Maybe that was it.  (good bait.)

Had some guy tell me last night that the Bradshaw to Swann connection was the best ever QB WR pair ever.  I had a good chuckle with that.

There is a reason all those "shuck & jive" running College QB's don't make it long in the NFL. Defense.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.
