I still enjoy it,
when I stop fussing about stuff I want fixed in AH,
when I no longer get angry when shot down when I know I could have flown my way out if i didnt mess up,
when HTC no longer updates AH and no longer adds new planes regularly...

hell, as long as I can regularly fly my 262 into a cloud of red icons, bag 17 kills and land rearm get 10 more, get shot down, curse my loss of 200 perks and do it again after flying a p47d11 a couple times... screw it im staying.
Fester was my in game name until September 2013

Has the game gone stagnant for you?
===========================
1) I enjoy playing AH more/less/same in the last 6 months.

About the same

Has the community become user unfriendly?

People in game pretty much same too, the ones that count are in my squad and I have known some of them for years.  Overall though for "community" I have to say I still rely on my offline friends for that kind of stuff :)

Awesome game.  I burn out occasionally... but it's not the game, it's the game'ERs that cause that.

1.)  I enjoy the game less.  The variation seems to be gone from it.  A.)  See plane.  B.)  Merge.  C.)  Avoid HO.  D.)  See his 15 friends.  E.)  Badda PING Badda BOOM!

2.)  I enjoy the BBS more.  Of course I only pay attention to about 8 people though, so Im sure the remainder of the community is dogflop... might as well put me down for 'less' here too.  ;)

Lately I hate the game, cause my stick is broke so i'm using one with no hat and no rudder...sucks. Gotta love them gv's. hehe.

My crappy stick aside, the game lost a bit over the last year, i see less missions, mile high survivalists FAR too much country hopping. But I still play when I can, really looking forward to AH2.

The community: politics has leaked outta the 'o' forum like puke outta an overfilled barfbag, it's smelling up chan.1. But overall i'd have to say I like the community, and I really salute all the dudes (and dudettes) who help, like the special event folks, the training crowd, posters with ALL kinds of good info and help, I think it's pretty cool.   <<<>>> All the good folks of AH.

airbumba type ".squelch 1" was getting annoyed at that today. all that channel 1 was about politics. dems and rebs were just insulting each other and I was getting annoying so i just squelch 1.

I dont know??? I wait for the airplane to fly in front then I pull the rigger (hopefully with my eyes open). Sometimes they blow up, sometimes they flame into the ground. Happens alot though. Sometimes I crash into the ground or get blown up.

Has the game gone stagnant?
It’s not changed much I don’t think, or that I noticed, so no. AH is still a ton of fun, and works well as a MMOG. Better than most.

Anyway...

1) Same. It’s still a blast.

2) Depends, online seems the same, if not better. There's been the same Channel 1 stupid sh*t I ignore, but less of it. As a whole, it's way better. In the early tours people screamed about chute killing, and that's been all but abolished because of the bbs, which is a point to note. It can affect player behavior and attitudes.

There is more stuff to kill, some are drones. Some are really good, but the percentage is way off. Early players had to fight there way out of 1V1's consistently. Rivals were made, now they really aren’t.

Unfortunately the BBS has prompted threads like this lately, so I guess in that regards it's less. Sober Blowhards ironically seem to influence the bbs as of late in a negative way, so yeah, indeed, less.

I am frankly tired of the horde mentality against the main arena Killjoy. Does that affect your enjoyment of the AH community, more/less/the same ?

AH is one of those places where you get out of it in equal measure to what you put into it.

If its going stale, its time for a change of venue.  CT is always a good option.

But for me the MA is just a place to practise & grab a kill or 2.

The REAL flying is in friday nights TOD (now Squad Ops)

No sucide attacks as its a 1 life event.
All my brothers gathered around we head off to do our best to follow orders. Whatever they may be, or where they may take us.

Granted the AH community has changed a lot since the beta days where mostly everyone knew everyone.

But you can still find a lot of it around if you look for it.

Of course setting a good example always helps also.

Last if its really getting stale, go take a look at a new sim. I can promise you you'll see AH differently afterwords.

CT is always a good option..

I agree, with the new maps and planesets, AH would be even more fun. But I play mostly after hours, and it's only got 6 players then.

Not that Primetime CT doesn't have alot, it does, and I'll try to hit that in the near future for sure.
