Finally : First time I p*ssed people off by shooting them down! After a year of subscription I finally managed it, I pissed not one, but two people off by shooting them down!

What I don't get it is how you stayed motivated for a whole year?  If you can't piss people off by shooting them down, then what's the point of playing?  The haunting cry of the spitwhiner was the only thing that kept me going for so long.

Piss them off by porking fuel, or moving the bases further apart.

I shot down hundreds of people in the last year, but never pissed them off enough to make them call me names on channel 1...

I'm also thoroughly amused by the tactics explained in the original thread, mostly posted by people with 10 years of on-line experience and 200 fighter hours per month. It's like explaining to a would-be athlete how to train and to work for the Olympic 100 meters and then expect them to be faster than 10 seconds after a week.

A N1K2-J seems to me to be able to shoot from ludricous angles if you fight it. Even at a huge E disadvantage it can pull its nose up high and spray you to death. And of course there is the beloved HO.

I personally suck in the N1K2-J, my SA is not good enough. I need speed, not turning ability. I can do reasonably well in the FM-2 but no-one pays you any attention in that one.
