Frankly i think that any torpedo plane will be totally outclassed by the current planeset to a point where even worse performnace will not have that much effect, also remember the swordfish was increadiably manouvreable so it should be fun to throw around with a 190 BnZing you
Like the Me110, the Swordfish was forced to soldier on not so much because of its sparkling performance (which it didn't possess) but because its replacement offered only a marginal increase in speed with less maneuverability.
Remember, the Stuka remained in service throughout the war despite being proven woefully inadequate against enemy fighters, even as early as the Battle of Britain. The Swordfish could turn all day, but anything in the game would bring it down eventually- it simply couldn't run or climb away.
