Far too frightening to imagine.  I crawl up of back of the seat during normal turbulence. I think I would have grabbed the best looking woman on the plane and enticed her to one last romp.

LOL - at least they had a valid excuse for being late that time.

I have flown EJ many times, and have even met and shaken hands with Stelios.

I do the same thing with regular turbulence...don't like it a bit.

As far as a "last romp" goes, it is a great idea in theory, but I know in reality I would not be able to perform, I'd be way too terrified.

Agreed.  I'm not really a flyer by heart so I rarely travel to far places.  When I do, my fix for the fear of flying is to stay awake for at least 36 hrs before the flight(pretty easy if you've got to pack) and have a few heavy handed mixed drinks during flight to help lull me to sleep.

My sister was an easyjet stewardess until about 6 months ago, glad that watermelon didn't happen to her.

Dear Boss:

Fred and myself are very sorry for causing some minor damage to one of the company's airplanes.  We thought we'd come clean ahead of time and say that we were approx 20 miles Northeast of a thunderstorm using our weather avoidance radar, Nexrad downlinks and utmost caution.  Just thought we'd give you the heads up, no need to go see the plane the damage is slight, if you have any questions about a large bill, the FBO is notorious for gouging their prices as well as making unnecessary repairs and you should talk to them if you have any questions.

Have a nice day,

John Smith, Captain
EasyJet Airline

Interesting story, thanks for the link.

I hope they don't model T storms in AH2, Dale could have WAY too much fun with that. :D
