Is is correct that their will be a new map editor and none of the old maps will work for AH2?

There will be a new TE (Thank God). I believe the maps are being redone for AH2.

so fat to each new version we get updated or new TE

Same will be for AH2. Terrains will get converter from AH to AH2.
But conversion will be not easy. I supose only main shape and placing of fields/object will left.
Hard to say now, we must wait
