Special Offer Cheaper for Europeans? $14.95
« on: October 27, 2000, 08:36:00 PM »
Just received an email from a former squad mate in Germany who told me he received the special offer mentioned in 2 other threads but he says his is for $14.96/month.  Wonder if there's different pricing which is based on the relative value of the currency vs. the US$
Damn!  Maybe the boys at HTC should have hired a market research firm to poll their existing base and explain the "plan" before they opened up such a can of worms.
Any truth to this or does my friend need glasses?

And someone said HTC should have kept this quiet, a secret...... Not much of a chance of that was there?

It's true that some of the offers were for $14.95/month (some even 9.95$), but I doubt there was any system in what order the offers were sent out.

Beegerite,
offers will expire at the end of october. Then we'll probably see a general change of AH monthly fee. I guess 19,95$ or 15,95$.
We euro players are having an hard time paying in US$.
Almost all of my squad mates, for example, will wait till the end of november.

Yep - just wondering when the Germans will finally come to their senses and kick this Euro nonsense in the teeth
