Now, I can see why people are ripped a him, I can see why they might ban him from SE for eternity, but they banned him from the MA two days into his billing cycle?!?
Do I have all the facts? No, I sure don't... what I have is this.
He was the Squadron Leader for the F4U-4s in the upcoming SE.
Okay, good so far.
Evidently, he was removed from Squadron Lead and made a choadie boy in a F6F.
Okay.... that sucks.
Now, I am told he emailed Allied Command and asked for an explanation. The story is a bit fuzzy after this....
Now.... I will be the first to admit that telling the Imp Jap's the secret Allied plan in revenge was..... okay..... dumb.....
Okay, maybe asanine might be a better word....
But does this actually violate ToS?
I'd like to hear the rest of this story. All I have is Gibroni (who was ranked in the 70s in the MA) is totally banned, And I haven't been able to contact him to get the rest of the fuzzy parts that make up WHY he was banned. Being a jerk may not be the smartest thing he could have done, but I don't see it as a bannable offense. Heck, we'd be able to ban suicide JABOs then wouldn't we?
I am not doing this to stir waves, Gibroni is a squaddie and a damn good one. If you were in the upcoming SE and know the scuttlebutt, PLEASE let me know.
