any chance that during the pizza time in the MA you could allways make the CT an early war fun fest?   Like BOB?   The russian/norweigen mid war thing was pretty cool too with La5 and G6/Fm2 ....

now why would they want to cater to you or the other occasional toe-dippers? would you stick around (or even come in) when the "bad for k/t" maps are up in MA?

you want to curry favor, you need to build up "credit" with the CT staff.

Naw, lazs, you wouldn't like it, so why would any of us even bother?
In the CT, it would be Axis versus Allied, no FM2 vs FM2, so you'd be complaining about it ten minutes after you logged in.  You said some time back that you didn't like that aspect of the CT, and much as I try to put setups in that have something for everyone, what you want in a setup just doesn't jive with what the CT is about.

Sorry, try again.................;)

obviously, I will never be a CT regular... it is axis vs allied with all the sameness and lack of imagination that involves..  but... I am not the only person who hates the pizza map.  If you want to get the numbers... and thereby getting new blood.... exposing new people to the CT..  you need to have some fun set... there are only about 3 fun allied vs axis setups that aren't either totally lopsided or" late war run and hide, worse than pizza" setups sooooo..

it is in your best interest.

it is in my interest because I don't stay long enough to get bored fighting the same ol planes with the same ol planes on my "side" in the short time I am in the CT.     The fights are decent for a couple of nights most of the time in the early war sets.   Skill levels about the same as the MA some better some worse than average.

I've been in the CT lately due to the darkness in the MA DURING PRIMETIME!!!!

f4f vs Zekes is a good matchup...the P-40B is good as well. I really do like the limited planesets that the CT offers...the maps are cool as well...I really like the fire effect there.

The only bad thing about the CT is the lack of players....if 100 players were there I would probably never fly the MA.

You CT kings should do whatever you can to grow the population...just my opinion of course.

Gawd, but that is a hilarious bit of irony! "Mr. Kettle, Mr. Pot calling on line one."  Seriously though, since we try to rotate the operational theater every week, it might be hard to synch up with the MA's "bad map" rotation.  Let me ask you, Laz: If one of the "America's Most Hated Maps" is up in the CT, wouldn't just about any CT set up we've ever run be better than the MA?

just about any CT setup?  yep.  this particular setup? nope.

and hey, i *don't* suck up, but that doesn't mean i don't know how.

i'd think the current setup would appeal to lazs, f4f's and all.... he'd even be likely to fly with the #'s on allied side.

but..... his k/t would suffer big time, i suppose, with the slow planes and longer flight times. maybe a scrip for ritalin would help him enjoy the CT more?

Heh heh.  Never let it be said that Lazs2 doesn't have a way of working himself into your heart.  His underlying point is a good one, though; it never hurts to have more people come into the CT.  Many of them will never have seen how much fun the early war planes are when they aren't being b&z'd by P-51s and the like.  Some might even enjoy the experience.
