http://www.floc.net/dpjudge/gamemaps/oclub.gif?map=0.852115The Italian people, disgruntled by affairs of state, have overthrown their monarch and established a new king. Having mounted the throne in the winter, King Raubvogel faces many challenges in front of him in the near future. Is he up to the task? Only time will tell.
We start in the north. King S.O.B. appears to have boarded his royal yacht and fled to the North Sea. With England wholly occupied or threatened by Germany and France, it appears only a miracle could save the British Empire now.
President Tarmac of France has entered the Mediterranean Sea and has reinforced Marsailles. Where will that fleet in the Gulf of Lyon go? Things may be heating up in the Mediterranean.
Kaiser Sandman has established German hegemony in England, with only Liverpool left to be placed under the Teutonic boot. In Southern Germany, the Kaiser's forces continue to dispute territory with the armies of Italy. Apparently, the change in Italian government did not improve the relationship between the two sovereign nations.
Archduke Sikboy has managed to somehow keep his empire alive in the face of potential enemies on all borders. The diplomatic corps in Austria has done a good job so far, and gives reason to be cautiously optimistic. The Archduke has Turkey to thank for removing the threat to Serbia. No doubt a special thank you package of Austrian Schnitzel and dumplings are on the way to Ankara.
Sultan Crabofix, besides removing the threat to his Austrian neighbor's province of Serbia, has put a halt to Russian expansion by "liberating" Rumania. In a spectacular display of tactics, the Sultan has convoyed his army in Armenia all the way to Rumania, thereby removing the Russian threat to Bulgaria for the moment. The Sultan has also taken control of the Aegean Sea, thus placing him perilously close to both Austrian and Italian navies.
Tsar fd-ski, heretofore virtually unopposed, has finally seen his awesome steamroller grind to a halt. Efforts to capture Serbia have been thwarted by the Turks, and now his units face an unknown quantity in the new Italian King. Russian forces stare units from every other nation(except France) squarely in the face. The skill of the Russian diplomatic corps could be strained to the limit in the near future.
Respectfully submitted,
