Jack Daniels vs Tequilla

I have found that when I drink Gentleman Jack when I am flying I have a much prosperous outcome. But, when I drink tequilla I tend to get all pissed off and try to run over people in my tiger tank(which usually fails). Does anyone else out there experience anything like this?

i can not name the certain thing that does it but...

there is a substance in tequila that come from the plant it is distilled from. this chemical reacts with your natural chemicals in your brain and makes you prone towards violent or confrontational thinking.

there have been scientific studies about this but the one i read was in a magazine (IIRC readers digest).

stay away from the evil drink designed ta-kill-ya

If you're gunna do the wobbly mexican, ya gotta drink MEZCAL! Not Tequila. Monte Alban does it for me.

If ya feel must drink Tequila, stay away from any white tequila, that's total crap. Try Del Dueno.

tequila is the devils mouthwater, and we ackt like it when drinking to much of it lol

whiskey/cognac you can go slow and enjoy, guess that is the difference (for me)

  I think the second pass on the filtering with the Gent Jack is
the key to its mellow buzz,man that **** is smooth.
 But also,if your buying the good jack,you probly had a good
day,lookin to treat yourself good,and you will perform better due
to your state of mind.
But if ya buyin the takillya,you likly feeling alittle like raising hell
and kickin some ass,which produces more stupid choices.

if i drink tequila i make sure its 100% agava,,,taste tons better,,hehe,,i like makers mark better than jack,,,it goes down alot smoother,,,but jack is twice as cheap,,,i even like some scotch,,but it has to be the good stuff,,cutty shark is pure nasty,,but a good 12 or 15 year old glenfidish goes down like water and messes you up very fast:),,lol

Can't really compare scotch to tequila though... there's one really big difference. Generally, all tequilas taste fairly similar, but scotch... there can be a vast difference in the taste of scotch. I'm willing to bet that if you try a nice 100% blue agave anejo and you don't like it, you won't like any other tequila either.

I'll agree. Glen Fiddich is some tasty stuff.
