Pyro: Is it worth unlocking the Terrain Beta topic?
« on: August 08, 2000, 11:47:00 PM »
Now that the terrain editor is available, would it be useful to let everyone access the previously-private terrain editor beta topic? We might be able to to glean some knowledge from those who trod the hallowed paths before?

Hhm... that would be fascinating.

Otoh, if any of the posts go over into that area where ya sense they were made with the understanding that the forum was locked and would remain that way, then ya really can't open it up....

Er... nah... don't like the potential precedent problem here (hows that fer alliteration?   ).

It should remain locked.

if he did unlock it he would have to archive all the posts first, or they'd be lost.
I'm an admin on a UBB setup and when I opened a locked board to everyone it flat deleted all the posts made when it was locked.
