New Setup proposal

Why don't we give both sides what they want: one week where they have what they feel is a superior planeset to bludgeon the seals with.  It happened commonly, where one side had a far better ride or two.

I say let the F4U guys have any F4U they want (Hell, any US ride they want) and some of us hapless romantics will fly for the Chrysanthemum throne in Zekes and the Ki.

After that, give the Allies P-40Bs, Hurri Is and F4Fs (oh, and the Fm2, hint, hint) and the Japs any Jap plane they want.  Just for one week.

I bet you it is not as one sided as everyone thinks it is.  I bet there are plenty of kills to be had in the inferior planes.  I've watched patient pilots rack up numerous kills in the Hurri I, SBD, etc.  If you charge into every place without thinking then you will get nasty surprises, and if you get trapped in 3 on 1s you will die.  So what?  If you are patient, the week you choose to fly for a loser plane set, you can get a bag of scalps, lose your share, and still have a blast.

If you see "faster bombers" (whine whine whine) then avoid them, most bombers are only bombing.  They aren't trying to dogfight slow fighters, they can't or they lose their drones.  If you are stupid enough to get dragged into a tail shot from a Peggy, I say you get what you deserve.

Let's try it, stop all the bloody whining for once.  You see guys who gang 4 on 2 or 6 on 2 and when someone zooms through and kills them they whine and cry and kick and scream "it aint right, it aint fair".

Shut the hell up and fly the damn airplanes you sniveling little panty waists.  Brady is right when he says that mostly folks are just bored with the same old planeset, we are so lighten up it is all we have.

Brady, you imperious poo flinger, some of us are right when we say "Don't think your personal views on balance are always perfect, just try it once please."

I personally promise to fly only for the inferior side in either setup.

;-)

Lighten up fellers.

I agree.  The incessant moaning about every this, that and the other is intolerable.  STFU and fly!

Creating unbalanced and grosly lopsided plane set's is Bad for business, and we have learned from our mistakes in the past regarding this.

We try and creat set up's that reflect the historical match up's of a given time and place withen the constraints of our plane set, while never sacrificing game play for historical accuracery. It creats bad unfun and porly matched fights to have huge preformance gaps in certain plane set's, this in turn creats poor atandance and negative experances, our adhearance to this policy over the last year (wth some exceptions) has proven it's worth in part by the increased attandance of the CT, we are not looking back but forward.

I think everyone understands the intent Brady, I'm simply saying give the whiners what they want and shut them up.

"whiners ", They are ever present, I even whine, in fact I have wnined so much about some things HiTech told me to chill himself, so thats about as whiny as you can get...so I know the flip side to whining, not just sitting hear reading it all the time from players.

Their will always be whiners, the trick is not leting it bother you to much so you can sift out the truth from the rest of the toejam, that is the hard part:)

Wise words.

I think alos your point about us needing more variety re planes, that's a key.
