yes I too played one of the Xcom games, think it was on playstation when it first came out, thought it was great.  This game looks to be a possibly interesting diversion.

I'm a flight sim fps shooter guy normally,but I remember buying   X-Com and playing all the way through and loving it.

I'll buy this one if it's similar.
