Sorry about the spam but really should check out the  UK AH 2003 convention website.

http://www.ahcon.org.uk/con2003/index2.html

The convention is just over a month away  (10th, 11th, 12th October) and loads of fellow AH’ers you know will be there to play and chew the cud.

I have been attending AW & AH cons in the UK since 97 and am organising this years at the Novotel Milton Keynes. You are very welcome to pop down for the day but if you really want to get into the spirit of things come to the banquet and  book it for the weekend. You will not regret it!

Our Cons are always great fun, I've been going to them since 1998 when I started in AW.  I know there are a lot of players in the UK and Europe and it would be great to see some of you come along - even better to see someone from further afield!  :D  Hope to see some of you there!  :)

OK.... I do plan on coming. A long term family illness holds me back from registering just yet though.

A quick question, I understand the connection to the net is through ISDN?

If so will cards etc be available at the Con to hire/buy and someone in the know there to install?

Is the connection through your own ISP or is a dedicated "con" connection available? (I would have to register the ISDN number if through my ISP).

Sorry if this is answered on the CON site I may have missed it.

Hopefully I'll cyas there :)

Our ISP sponsor at the UK con is CLARA.NET.

For historical reasons Clara has been very sympathetic to our UK community and this year has again stepped forward to assist by providing a free call ISDN dial up from the con modems as well as providing valuable assistance with the network hubs etc.

Your PC (if you bring one) should have a network card installed........if not we will sell you one and help you install it. You will need a spare PCI slot.

If you can let me know soonest I can reserve tables at the banquet etc.

Hi

I cant make it for the 3 days but I'm certain I can make it for at least Sat or Sun. I wont be bringing a PC but don't mind bunging in a couple of quid for costs, is that ok?

Does the bar really open at 10am on Saturday?!? If so I may be staying longer than I thought :)
