Are lopsided team numbers a travesty only when your team is down or are they always problem?

It's a complaint of convieniece.  I got gang banged, wahhh.  Ulp, no my team has the numbers advantage, but I ain't saying crap.

Plenty of folk cry on this board about numbers, but when their team has 'em, do they change teams?  Do they still carry the flag of numbers injustice?  No, they don't.  When you are not in the bucket, there is no problem.

Get it?

I usually stay out of these discussions but I have to agree with Grimm and Widewing on this one....The numbers game tends to rotate...If you remember  the Rooks were the ones outnumbered for a long time and squads switched, people bailed, etc...

Knights....hang tough....just one thought though....the Rooks had a problem with badmouthing newbies, not offering help, trashtalking on country channel.  Some of us took an active roll in welcoming new pilots to our country and helping them out.  Not sure if that is what you have going on on your side but maybe thats a part of the problem.

I've flown AH since beta and I'm amazed to here the fiction regarding "we went thru it & now it's your turn". Historically Knights have been the lowest #'s (why I fly there) 70%+ of the time.

Humble....sorry buddy but I dont agree with that statement.  It goes in cycles.

yup, i recall much worse days for rooks. Good thing was always being able to find a fight. Bad thing was once you found a fight, you REALLY had a fight. Our squad rotated a bit to see how the other half lived, found out being on the side with most pilots really sucked as we flew forever to find nmy! We moved back to rooks again, now #'s have evened up or even in our favor at times. I much prefer even #'s or a odds a bit against us. Seeing 6 or 8 friendlies fighting over one lone enemy sure makes for a sad, boring night. When the odds suck, fly a fast plane. With lots of fuel (need I say p51?).

Why is being outnumbered a bad thing?  That just means more targets.  Jeez....

I went through the time when rooks were badly outnumbered... worse than the numbers I see here.  I guess you can whine to the extent that you threaten to quit the game or talk about others doin so.   To me ... sounds like so much whining.

I see it's futile to try to discuss these things. Some of you read what you want to see and ignore what you don't. I'm not whining about numbers. There are always going to be uneven sides. What you are ignoring is my claim that uneven sides screw up the game more with the arena capture thing than otherwise.

With a mob, any side can run through the arena taking bases with impunity. I don't even care about that, except when they screw up the arena they ruin the chance of having fun for others.

But it's not the players. They are doing what they are supposed to do. It's the game setup that I'm *****ing about.
