Hi, could you let us know whether our current perks are transferrable to AH2 when it is released please?  Would hate them all to go to waste!  thx.

Considering the fact that Aces High 2 is a completely independent program with a new front end I would strongly suspect the in-game data base will also be totally new. There are probably alot of database incongruences that would make linking the player data of the old version to that of the new problematic to impossible and almost certainly not be worth the programming effort.

HTC, has already stated that when Aces High 2 is released the version we are playing will cease to exist. I take this as a strong indication that everything will start from scratch.

I'm in the process of burning my perkies off and have stopped flying early war perk fetching rides except for my own personal amusement.

Ive never understood the need to have more than around 900 fighter perks.
Cant cash em in for money
Cant take em with ya
Chicks arent impressed by you perk count
Perk rides are major targets......

Besides I thought AH2 was going to be rank based- how would perks tie in with rank?

It isn't a "need," it's an artifact of not caring to fly perk planes.

Good point Levi. But for many it is indeed a "need"
Myself I dont care about em, & if I get over 1200 I fly a couple temps or 262s wich promptly get shot down ;)

Cool HiTech cleared it all up.

Note to self: Come up with new pickup line that doesn't refer to perk points.

You're right, the old one wasn't working anyway - not even on my wife...

I bet you've never enjoyed busting a vulch fest with a 262. Breaks the monotony and loads o' fun.

Think I have at least 100 points. It usually takes about 6 months to get enough for a 262, then I get real drunk, rip the wings off, and start over.
